It belonged to the CFR operator and was built in Resita (Romania) in 1939 for the Standard gauge 1435 mm. „131001“ was the first steam locomotive built at Uzinele Mecanice Reșița.

Today it is refurbished by Astra Călători and is located in front of Arad Station, Romania. The locomotive is taken for a certain period of time from the Subcetate museum and was given to Astra Călători for a makeover.

Since April 2011, it has been exhibited in the Arad station between the staff command and the former CFR canteen.
